Augmented Reality Marketing and clothing

Prendo spunto da una segnalazione di Andrey Golub su FF per segnalare l' uso potenziale delle tecniche di realtà aumentata nel marketing (certamente Non Convenzionale per il momento) dell'abbigliamento e degli accessori.

We start from a simple definition Augmented Reality:

" Augmented Reality is an advanced interactive graphics system that allows the mixing of virtual objects properly with real elements collected through input devices such as webcams, microphones and cameras. "

Recall that in the augmented reality the majority of the objects are real, except for a few digital object that is added and placed in view of the observer as if it really existed, thereby complying with movement and perspective.

Our example today is a Virtual Fashion Book still very "rough" but that propels us into a real world more and more mixed with the virtual one.




Augmented reality will be increasingly used not only in the "games" but also in Marketing (Conventional and Non) and in advertising.


The first applications in marketing are:

- Interactive Packaging, (the fantastic holiday History of Lego bricks)

- Sensing and Brand Experiences (with developments in sensory marketing)

- Interactive presentations (use of mascots testimonial and digital)

- Applications hyperreal in social networks;

- Widgets hyperreal;
